You climbed the walls and I let you in to my world. You were my everything, and I broke down those walls for you. Then, you broke my heart, and as soon as you were gone, and I had healed, I started building those walls back up, making sure they were even higher then before.

I grew to understand that people don't always build walls to keep others out. There are times it is done out of a necessity to protect whatever is left within.
