If there is any dessert that always stands out for me, then it has to be this Apple Custard.

It’s silky smooth, made with fresh apples and pears from @southafricaapplespears and is so easy to make at home! 🤌🏻🍎😋

Recipe:
- 2 whole chopped apple @southafricaapplespears
- 700 ml milk
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp custard powder

For caramelized pears:
- 1 whole chopped pear @southafricaapplespears r cream
- 1 tbsp butter
-2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds

🍎 Strain the milk and apple mixture before adding the rest of the ingredients.

🍎 Set it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
