From the seller: legant couture 1860’s Civil War Ball gown over coat in amazing condition. French Pastel cream watered silk fabric with pink Roses. Embellished with the best carved Mother of Pearl buttons, front and back. A sewing masterpiece with front and back rows of gorgeous ruching, and also on the sleeve armyces intense cartridge pleating. It's made of duchess silk satin. Bodice is lined with cotton and covered with cotton bobbinet. All bodice seams are boned. Skirt is faced with silk satin and it has two cotton bobbinnet over layers. White tulle layer is covered with c. 7000 silver sequins, individually attached. Black tulle has a Greek key appliqué that I cut out of silk velvet and hand stitched in place. Rows of silver and gunmetal sequins border the tulle layers. I also added paper flowers as a decoration. Straight seams…

"Providence" TV series 1999-2002 popular dream sequence. Edwardian gown costume Season 2 Episode 1 "The Third Thing" air date September 24, 1999. Gown is lavender silk, sweetheart neckline, vintage lace applied to bodice, sleeves, skirt and attached belt, bead and pearl trim, zipper back. Dreamy white cotton eyelet lace dress with a lining in soft cotton is styled from the Edwardian era. The loose bodice buttons in the back and the skirt gets progressively fuller with flounces of the eyelet. Satin ribbon trims the flounced length sleeves and the waist is finished with a buttoned belt, which is included. Sizing for this garment is based on bust measurements, in US measurements: Bust (in inches) XS 37 S 40 M 44 L 47 XL 51 XXL 56 3XL 59 4XL 63
