In Confusion philosophy, filial piety is the virtue of respecting, obeying, and taking care of our parents and elderly kin. This saying is something that resounds with me because it is so accurate, but not something that Icarus followed. His father did everything to try and protect and save him through their journey, but Icarus was stubborn and arrogant and did not respect his father's words. Because of this, his life was lost.
