The boundaries which box us in are often self-imposed. Such imagined boundaries are often not physically stopping us, but our self-constraints compel us not to cross our own lines. This photograph is a self-portrait using chalk on chalkboard paint, and I drew these lines to form what appears to be a box, but can only be seen from the perspective of the camera. This is called an anamorphic illusion and further conveys how perspective affects our world.
