The third component of my morning meeting has always been the “share.” For the share, I have a question displayed on my morning board as students come in the classroom along with 3 student names. This gives them plenty of time to think about their answer while they’re doing bell work. Then, after our greeting and message, those 3 students share their answer to the question. On Fridays, I do what I call a ⚡️⚡️lightning share⚡️⚡️. Lightning share is where I display a would you rather question and every student in the circle goes around and answers the question!
