Last week my class made these adorable frog artworks. We read a frog based story that complemented our unit of work on water. I cannot remember the title, but when I am back at school I will find it! Here are just a few of them. I started with a 'directed drawing' and then guided the students through completing their artwork with oil pastel and a thin paint wash. froghoppers, or the superfamily Cercopoidea These families are best known for the nymph stage, which produces a cover of frothed-up plant sap resembling saliva; the nymphs are therefore commonly known as spittlebugs and their froth ascuckoo spit, frog spit or snake spit.
