Saturday Morning Cartoon

TV Guides are yet another thing I collect. Not all of the issues, but certain ones that are special to me, such as those that featured Saturday morning cartoons such as this one from 1973. My mom always subscribed to TV Guide and I knew exactly what day it would arrive in the mail and would wait for it to arrive so I could pour over it and plan my TV viewing habits for the next week. Surprisingly, I did not end up a TV junkie!

There's nothing like a good blast from the past. There was a time when technology had not taken over yet and we'd spend most of our days outside, playing until the street lights came on. Then we'd come back home, listen to cassettes, and watch our favorite movies on videotapes. There's nostalgia in reminiscing about how things used to be, and that's exactly what we're here to do - rekindle those memories.

Disney Channel just announced that familar characters including Goofy, Daisy Duck, and Rescue Rangers will join the cast of "DuckTales" in seasons 2 and 3.
