Allie Apels on Instagram: "Worry Monsters 💛 It is so normal for us to feel worried at times. One of the best ways to overcome worry is to talk about it We loved the book, The Very Hungry Worry Monsters. This is a fun story about friendly monsters who eat worries and fears. After reading the story, we talked about ways that we can recognize worry in our bodies, what we can do to calm ourselves, and the importance of writing and/or sharing our worries with others.. We were inspired by two incredible educators @mrsmacskinders and @missrobertsyyc to create our own worry monsters. We used Kwik Stix @kwikstixpaint to create our monsters. Using a @ucec_craft circle punch, we made “cookies” with our worries written on them and fed them to our monsters."
