from my sources adjacent to tumblr--from which i can spread rumors and insider information freely because i dont give a fuck about ever working in the tech sector--im hearing this round of firings was focused on purging the senior staff, and not just from support but from the entire remaining tumblr workforce. i'm hearing there are about 25 people left.
odysseus absolutely does present a threat to penelope if he perceives her as at all unfaithful, and i feel the unfairness of this, and i think people tend to undersell how much tension at least potentially exists between odysseus and penelope. but i'm also like. his reaction, all speculation aside, his actual reaction in the odyssey to her flirting with the suitors is delight, because he immediately ascertains that she is running a con. sorry that they're so in-sync in spite of the forces that try to drive a wedge between them, including their own misgiving hearts. sorry that they invented homophrosyne ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if you've never engaged with a creative art on a regular basis you need to understand that it requires concerted effort to get into "the groove" to make something and every second that it takes to get into that groove causes physical pain, but the only thing worse than doing it is not doing it.
had to go get my blood drawn today (need to so my insurance will cover my T prescription)
was really nervous cause of my really bad needle phobia but thankfully it went really well
it was the same lady that did it before and she was really really great! I felt such a wave of relief when I saw it was her hhhh I think that really helped me not get so faint afterward haha I even drove home this time!
Also so lucky to have my amazing wife @bonkalore who was there to hold and support me

We could be leading meaningful lives, in a safe world, supported by active communities and equitable exchange of resources.
But a handful of pathologically rich people would rather cram us into factories and pollute our air and water so that they get to play Godking.
And yet, I'm the "extremist" for suggesting that they shouldn't be to allowed to do that.
They tell me expecting a humanitarian world is "unreasonable" but expecting the entire world to sacrifice its potential just to cater the whims of a handful of rich people seems many magnitudes more unreasonable to me.
