This Cheeseburger Pasta recipe from @fooddolls will be on repeat🔁 INGREDIENTS 1 pound ground beef 1 Tablespoon oil 1 cup onions diced and divided 1 medium red bell pepper 4 cloves garlic minced 2 cups uncooked pasta any kind 1 (16-ounce) jar marinara sauce 28 ounces diced tomatoes canned or fresh 1 teaspoon paprika 1 Tablespoon dried oregano 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon salt 3 cups water 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese for garnish DIRECTIONS In a medium pan over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5 minutes. Drain the excess fat. Add half of the diced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes or until they soften. Add the minced garlic, and cook for an additional 20 seconds. Turn off the heat, and transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker.
Cook the pasta to al dente according to the package instructions. Set aside. Add the jar of marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, remaining onion, paprika, oregano, Italian seasoning, water, and salt to the slow cooker. Stir to combine the ingredients. Cook the mixture on medium heat in the slow cooker for 4 hours. After 4 hours, add the cooked pasta, and the shredded Mozzarella cheese. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. | Crock-Pot®

We have our lasagna noodles in our dish. So next, we're going to add our Italian sausage and I've already ground this up with a little bit of onion. I'm going to put that right in there. I'm using Johnsonville Italian sausage sauteed right in the pan. So, we're going to get that all in there incorporated. Okay, next I'm going to add our sauce. So, I'm doing two jars of pasta sauce and you can use whatever you find you like. This one is four cheese. I like to use different kinds for different flavors but you can use whatever you like. I'm just going to mix a couple different kinds that I like. Next, I'm doing tomato and basil. Let's get it over the top. It's going to be so delicious. It smells so good and this is so easy for people who don't want to make lasagna the old-fashioned way with all the layering. You can just do it all in one easy dish. Alright, so I've saved a little bit of pasta water. So, this is about a half a cup. I'm just going to pour that over the top. Now, I'll get down to our noodles and help them cook a little more. Now, I've only cooked the noodles for about four minutes because I don't want them to be overdone. Our so next we're going to add our cheese. So I'm going to do one cup of mozzarella to start. It's about a cup and then I'm going to do about a/ 2 of a cup of Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle that over the top. Okay. Now, for the most exciting part of our dish, I'm going to set this aside. I've got a little bit of cooked spinach just a touch and now, I'm going to add some ricotta cheese to that We're going to do about a cup of that. And I cook the spinach with a little bit of garlic and olive oil and we're just going to mix that together and the best part about this dish is that you don't have to spend time doing all this layering. We are just going to take our mixture and we're just going to make little dollops on top. Oh, that's going to be awesome. I don't want to waste any of my ricotta. Make sure I get all of the little bits Oh, perfect. That looks great. Okay. Now, we have to have a little bit more cheese. I'm going to put a little bit more mozzarella on the top of that. Sprinkle a touch. Look at our casserole dish. It's just overflowing. This is going to be amazing. Mm hmm. So many flavors in here. Cheesy. Oh, I can't wait. Alright. So, that's overall that's about two and a half cups of mozzarella. Alright, so this is ready to go in our oven. I've got the oven set for 425 and this is going to go in for 30 minutes. Alright. Here we go. Okay, so let's check on our lasagna. Ooh, this looks good. So, what I like to do at the end is turn the broiler on for about 5 minutes. I'm going to turn turn the temperature up to broil and then let it sit. Kie dokie. I'm so excited. Wow, this looks incredible. Take a look at this. Wow. Yum. Wow. How exciting. So, we let it sit under the broiler for a few minutes and I think that really made the difference. Look at all that. Beautiful golden brown cheese. Oh, I cannot wait to dig into this. So, we're going to let it sit for a few minutes before we dig in but I can't wait. Okay, so we let our lasagna set for a few minutes. So ready to dig in here. I'm just going to go in for it. Oh, smells amazing. Got that Italian sausage, the ricotta, Alright. Yummy. There we go. Oh, that looks delicious. Look at that melty cheese on the top. The nice crust. Alright. Let's take a bite. You know I was in I was in Europe. So we're going to sprinkle this right on top. Alright. We also going to take a little bit of sea salt. And some pepper. Okay, y'all. And what else are we doing here? Alright, I have some garlic. So, I'm just going to put the whole clove thing of garlic right there like that. Alright, we're going to leave it like that. We're going to take the skin off later. After it cooks, alright? Just like so. No such thing as too much garlic. Y'all know that I believe that. Alright. Now, we have some extra virgin olive oil. Y'all I gotta tell y'all. If y'all never been to Italy and try the olive oil there, you have to. It's no comparison. I I ordered some and it's coming in the mail. I can't wait for it to get here. Anyways, we're just going to drizzle some olive oil on top of this stuff, okay? Um I like lemon. So, we put a little more lemon right here. So, we're going to put this in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes and then y'all are going to see the next step but y'all are going to love this easy dinner. Alright, y'all. So, we took this out of the oven after about 30 minutes. So, before we do our next step, we have we have to do something here. Actually, I was going to squeeze these lemons. Oh yeah, this is what we're going to do. We're going to do that. We're going to push em down and then all the juice going to come out. Y'all I had a bite of something and it was real hot and then it got stuck in my throat. That's it. End of and now I need let's see. Let's see. I'm trying to get these lemons. Okay, we got the juice out. Now, we're going to move these lemons to the side. Oh, that's a funny noise. Let's do that again. Okay. I'm trying not to burn myself y'all. Y'all it's rough. It's rough on these streets sometimes, okay? Let's get all that juice out. We're going to squish it. Squish it all out. Yup. Alright. Alright, there we go. Okay, y'all. Now, you have to get the garlic out too. I think the garlic like you're supposed to squeeze it and then it comes out but oh yeah, there we go. Okay. Y'all this is hard, okay? This is this is more than I thought right now. So, we just going to take the, we're going to take it out because I just want. It's going to have the flavor of the garlic already. I think you're supposed to like squeeze it and it comes out but oh there we go. Alright. So, I'm going to do my best to get some of these out but also it's like kind of labor intensive and I don't like that. So, we just going to we just going to move on with our lives, alright? Let's see if I can get it out here. Oh, there we go. Okay, y'all. I got it. I figured it out. We're going to use some of it. We're going to use some alright just like that okay y'all that's good so now what we're going to do we're going to mix this a little we have our boursin cheese we have our garlic our lemon juice and our olive oil alright I do think we might need a little more olive oil we do y'all I'm telling y'all I got something stuck alright there we go so now y'all what we going to do here after that's done we're going to add a little bit of spinach like a little handful like so okay it's going to wilt because the heat from the cheese and stuff and then I think I'm splashing bridgey again but she's already got like all kinds of stuff on her from today I have some cooked pasta we're going to add some I don't know how much but some it's one pie of cooked pasta. I also have a little bit of Parmesan cheese that we're going to put in there too, alright? Will you hand me a plate? Any plate? Like a pretty one? Thank you. So we're going to give this a little mixy mixy. Our shallots, our lemon, our spinach, and whatever else is in here. So, this is a vegetarian dish, right? Yup. Vegetarians eat cheese. Yeah, right? Some some? Okay. Alright. So, now we're going to do y'all. Time to try it. We're going to put some on our plate here. This is looking beautiful actually. Nice and light.
