1. Using a piece of paper, write a capital B and a capital D.  Take a lighter color and write a lowercase b inside the B to show your child that the lowercase b actually lives inside a capital B - so whenever we see a b or want to write a b, think of the capital letter to help!

2. When we write or read, we always move from left ➡️ right.  So… the b starts with a straight line down and the d starts with a circle.  When we pronounce the sounds, our 👄 lips 👄 actually tell us which letter it is… lips closed like a straight line —— when we make the sound for b (just like how we start the b with a straight line), and 👄 lips 👄 o D And B Confusion, B D Confusion, B And D Anchor Chart, B D P Q Confusion, B And D Confusion, B And D, Capital B, Bat And Ball, Practice Tracing
