This piece was going to be a part of the flower bush collection, but I’ve decided to take it in a different direction. I was originally inspired by rivers in the amazon that split and wind with trees surrounding them. As I added rocks to the river, and decided on 2-3 different shades of foliage, I started to see the piece as a more detailed amazon themed one instead of decorated with beads. I plan to add more rocks, maybe some dried grass too. We’ll just see where this piece goes 🌿 . . . #emb... Hopefully you can enjoy this snowy scene, even if you don’t like the real snow that came last night! For those who didn’t follow me last Winter, this was my first attempt at snow covered evergreen trees. Hopefully you can enjoy this snowy scene, even if you don’t like the real snow that came last night! For those who didn’t follow me last Winter, this was my first attempt at snow covered evergreen trees. I used my rose bush technique to add tiny delicate white french knots on top of the fluffy green wool knots. This is one of my favourite winter hoops. A lovely family home rests just below a forested mountain in beautiful British Columbia ⛰️🌳 . This was such a wonderful embroidery project to work on as I have seen this home in person.
