Maryanne Cabrera on Instagram: "I absolutely hated learning how to make parchment cones in culinary school. (Mainly bc I’m left handed learning in a right handed world) But once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature and you can make these with your eyes closed. It’s like learning to tie your shoes… it’s difficult until it isn’t. These parchment paper cones are great for piping icing and frosting or drizzling melted chocolate. It comes in handy when decorating cookies with royal icing! #bakingtips #parchmentpaper #pipingtips" Decorating Cookies With Royal Icing, Kitchen Knowledge, Tie Your Shoes, Chocolate Cone, Cones Diy, Cookies With Royal Icing, Piping Icing, Paper Cones, Decorating Cookies

1) Pipe tempered chocolate into frozen alcohol (vodka /kitsch/gin)
2) The chocolate will shock set on contact,
3) Remove from the alcohol
4) Can be finished with edible metallic spray to give a bling finish.
5) Give it time to crystallise in the fridge.
* NOTE : the alcohol will evaporate off, ideally don’t touch with your fingers until the chocolate has crystallised. The alcohol can be re frozen.
