Here are some illustrations done for the then-new PBS show, WORD WORLD! In that kid's education program, all objects are made of words, thus prompting kids to read! It was a challenge creating word-shaped illustrations that were accurate, attractive, and enticing to young viewers and readers! Click images to enlarge!

Well its back to school time, and in preperation for class I began looking up the topic of identity. This is one of the areas that my senior students must complete. When viewed from a distance, the works of Sagaki Keita may look like another attempt to recreate classical paintings and sculptures, but when you come closer, you start to notice that his drawings are all made of thousands of cartoon doodles. Tokyo-based artist draws in ink, usually with a 0.38mm pen, and, amazingly, all of his works are completely improvised without being drafted first.
