✨GOLD DRIP TUTORIAL✨
-1 tsp gold luster dust
-1 tbsp powdered sugar
-3 tsps lemon extract or vodka
Good quality luster dust is key to a shiny gold drip! I love using @nycake . If drip is to thick add more liquid, I used probably close to 4 tsps lemon extract. This consistency is going to be much different than a ganache drip. Had so many questions on this recipe so hope you all find this helpful 🤩 tag me if you use it for your masterpiece ✨

Let me know what you think 🤔 I m using my zombie cake so for the gold I use gold highlighter, when you do on the real cake, you might have to use edible gold dust but off course it won’t be as shiny as this one. Or you can offer the option to your customers. I m using water 💧 ganache recipe from @treatsbytay Ganache recipe : 65 gr white candy melt 1 Tbsp water. Microwave for 30 seconds, mix well. Let it sit a little bit so the ganache won’t be too runny.
