No specialised tools are required.... just a knowledge of how to tie a strong and secure knot to make your bracelets durable. Always select the largest diameter beading elastic that will comfortably fit through your beads. This will minimise abrasion from the beads against the elastic and prolong the life of your bracelet.

Today I’m going to be talking about that special knot we use to tie a stretch bracelet. Every time I make a stretch bracelet, I always get comments like, “I can’t see the knot” or “I can’t see what you’re doing” so in todays’ tutorial, I’m going to be tying that knot on a giant scale so that you can see exactly what I’m up to.

I have been making jewelry for about 15 years but I rarely share any jewelry DIY's because special tools are needed and jewelry making can be complicated (and tedious). However, I recently made a
