No Matter Where: A ZoSan AU Flash Zine is an unofficial free digital One Piece fan zine dedicated to exploring the romantic relationship between Zoro and Sanji!Anytime, Anyplace is the NSFW sidezine for this project, of the same premises!
What is a “zine”? A zine – also called a fanzine – is a collaborative passion project, made by fans, for fans. Zines may come in a number of different shapes, sizes, and formats, but at their core they are curated love letters to a fandom, character, ship, etc. Multiple creatives come together to contribute writing, art, etc. and at the end the final submissions are formatted into a digital or physical booklet. What is a “flash zine”? A flash zine is a zine that runs on a reduced time frame, encouraging participants to immerse themselves in the creative spirit and not focus too much on perfectionism. The creation period of No Matter Where will be 2.5 months. Will this zine be digital or physical? No Matter Where will be a free digital zine, to ensure accessibility. Is the zine entirely SFW? No Matter Where will be split into two different zines, one SFW and one NSFW. Note: Both zines will allow canon-typical depictions of violence. How old do I have to be to contribute? Participants must be 18+ at the time of their application.I have to be 18+ even if I want to contribute to the SFW zine? Yes. Organization for both variations of the zine will be taking place in the same server, and as such all participants must be 18+ at the time of their application, regardless of which ‘side’ of the zine they are working on.What counts as NSFW? Is gore allowed? For the purposes of the zine, NSFW refers to exposed genitals and/or sex. Gore will not be permitted.Since the zine description says “ZoSan”, are you only allowing certain ship dynamics? No, all Zoro/Sanji – or Sanji/Zoro, if you prefer – ship dynamics are allowed and are to be mutually respected by all contributors. Can I include other characters and ships in my submission? Yes, so long as they are not the primary focus.May I apply with an alternative type of contribution, like a craft or recipe? Not on this occasion, as to have both “ship” and “AU” translate clearly with alternative contributions takes more nuance than a flash-zine’s schedule allows for.
