thought I would be a little more explicit, but if it wasn’t obvious, I don’t use tumblr anymore. best wishes. <3
A blog to explore design. It is a retired project.

I'm Robin. This is an archive of themes I created for Tumblr throughout high school.
It was created as a fun personal experiment to explore minimalist design and fashion and to teach myself how to code.

Really depends on what you want and we’ll negotiate from there.
You can easily search this up.
It really depends what you use them for. Generally, more detail -> higher resolution -> more pixels. If you enlarge a 100px image to 200px image, it will be blurry. 200px image to 100px image will still retain it’s quality.
hi me again lmao, i just realised autoplay only happens on videos posted in NPF, videos posted as a traditional video post don’t have autoplay. and from my understanding most theme creators don’t really know how to work around NPF posts yet. sorry to waste your time!!
Yep. It’s slower because the script has to iterate through every post with a video after it has been loaded. If there’s any way to make the runtime faster, feel free to suggest improvements.
Also, thanks for bringing up the NPF posts. I didn’t know Tumblr had a new API and now you can fetch post’s data with it in a clean way. The issue is you have to authenticate your API key to use it, so that’s why creators can’t work around it. You can definitely do cooler things.
Yes. Anything that shows up on your blog during preview (most of the time) is changable.
More pixels!
No, you don’t need to delete the script. And yes, most functions (in this case because we’re hosting through Tumblr) that are displayed on the webpage can be deleted in the HTML file because that’s how a webpage is displayed and how Tumblr themes are set up. Mostly everything you see in the preview is in the HTML.
In regards to the scroll, go to the bottom and delete “scroll-top” element.
In regards to commissions, yes, I would consider doing them.
JavaScript.
part 2 / the theme I want to edit is only for personal use and I’ll keep your credit intact of course. I will also have a message on my blog saying ‘theme … by nouvae - heavily edited’ so my followers will be able to know exactly what theme of yours I have edited. I hope you have a lovely week!
Yeah, I know. To be honest, it doesn’t matter that much to me, but credit would be nice. Don’t forget that there’s also a lot of base codes out there for you to use. Happy coding!
Hi! I’m going to make that code so much more intuitive one day… It’s a mess. You can use my boombox for now. It has a tag search integrated in it.
:-) Hope so. Definitely have more cooler design ideas but I’ve been completely focused on real life recently.
