Mini Basma Stacks (makes approx mini 18 stacks)

1 packet kataifi pastry
3/4 cup melted ghee or clarified butter (highly recommend ghee for best flavour)
500g authentic @tarekabdelrahimelwazzicreamery ashta

To serve:

Crushed pistachios 
2 cups prepared sugar syrup 

Preheat oven to 180c.

One package a phyllo dough
My ashta recipe
Oil for frying

Flatten out the phyllo dough cut into 4 long pieces width long. Then fill piping bag or zip lock bag  with ashta mixture onto the dough and roll it up into a finger at the end, dip your fingers into water and then just close them up. A pan put some oil for frying on a medium heat when you’re ready to fry them make sure the oil is ready and then go ahead and put them in for a minute then take them out and put them right into the simple syrup and let them soak for another minute And optional. You can put pistachios on top and enjoy.

1 tablespoons of flour
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
