I remembered when I was little, there is this stall across my house that sells You Tiao 油炸鬼. Back then it was only S$0.10 per piece. The father and daughter team will be busying rolling out the dough, cutting and dipping it into the oil. The customer on the other hand will take a proactive role in helping the girl to fry it.
