Eggless rava cake/semolina cake. This recipe is the closest you can get to an lyengar Bakery Rava Cake🤌🏻
Ingredients:
1 cup fine rava( blend the rava incase its not fine)
1/4 cup maida
1/2 cup melted ghee
1cup powdered sugar
1/4- 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup curd
Pinch of salt
1 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tspBaking soda
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Method:
In a bowl combine curd, ghee, powdered sugar and fine rava, mixx well and set aside for 20-30 mins.
Then sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda, mix well and gradually add milk and vanilla essence to make a smooth batter.
Transfer the batter in a greased baking dish, bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30 mins or until the inserted toothpick comes out clean.
