How to write female characters

Guys, stop letting 'strong' confuse you. It's just put there to differentiate from the normalcy of poorly written female characters. A female character who is physically strong can be 'weak' if that's her only defining trait. Too often people confuse a masculine female with "strong" which is entirely counterproductive.

We all love the Strong Female Character. Why? Because gone are the days of the damsel in distress. We don't want Prince Charming to swoop in and save the day — we want our strong female character to save herself. But, unfortunately, the Strong Female Character has become a stereotype. An annoying one.
