In this article, gardening expert and suburban homesteader, Merideth Cohrs, walks you through whether impatiens need full sun, partial shade, or even full shade to thrive.

These are called "Sunpatiens" - I have posted these in previous years. They are purchased from Cottage Farms Direct in Irvington, AL and are "impatiens" that are extremely tolerate to sun. These are only 2 pots, with 3 sunpatiens planted in each pot. After 1.5 months, this is how big they've grown. All they want is water every other day...and lots of sun...which I get all day long. By the end of the summer, they are HUGE. I buy magenta for pots and lilac to plant in the ground. OUTSTANDING!
