So I made 3 different designs based on the original lowell sphere. The first one looks no different from a regular 4x4 lowell sphere but instead of 24 1x2 jumper plates it uses only 12 2x2 jumper plates. It also doesn't require 24 corner plates which are pretty scarce in my collection. The second one is an adorable 3x3 lowell sphere.
