I’ve seen these kind of mochi donuts called “mochisadas” before, like a cross between mochi and malasada, but I think they’re more like a cross between mochi and andagi 🤷🏻‍♀️ whatever, I don’t make the rules. Anyway, it’s way easier to make mochi donuts like this than the pon de ring shape 😅

Ingredients
4 oz mochiko (close to 3/4 cup)
1/4 cup sugar (50g)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon or whatever you like)
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 tbsp melted unsalted butter
Extra cinnamon and sugar for dusting
