announcing it here too: i am no longer using this as an account for anything other than reblogging/liking art and the like
i have dropped nighthead as well . tldr i’m not safe on public social media anymore, so i’m moving to a new tumblr account for personal matters, and will keep this one as a reblog-only account .
if you want the user to my new PERSONAL ACCOUNT where i will talk about MYSELF and MY THOUGHTS and MY LIFE, which apparently i need to overly clarify is in fact my right as someone who wants to exist online, then you can comment/dm me and i might give it to you but only if i’m 100% certain i can trust you not to share it with others, as it will be password protected once i allow enough people to follow . no hard feelings if i don’t want to share it, because my goal is ultimately to be a lot more selective about who i spend my time with and ensuring that i cultivate my experience better after years of being harassed and bullied on and off by a variety of shitty people .
it’s been a good time interacting with my mutuals but there are people who are still speaking ill of me since years after our last interaction, still people who feel the need to call me annoying and fakeclaiming me, people who stalk me even when i move accounts, so i’m just done with public social media now . i appreciate all the love and time i’ve spent with everyone, but it’s ultimately time for me to move on for my health and safety 🫶
You fool. You’re waiting to arrive at a destination, but ‘better’ is merely a direction. Life would be easier if we could tally all our feelings up, look at them like numbers on a spreadsheet; know unquestionably how to improve those numbers - but life can’t be reduced to plain numbers. Your condition isn’t defined by such easily-understood terms, so stop believing 'better’ implies 'something I’m not’. You don’t GET better, You BECOME better by BEING better. U wanna know how to start getting better? By simply being in the PROCESS of getting better.
At the risk of sounding anti-intellectual, I think that college should be free and also not a requirement for employment outside of highly specialized career fields
