the cliffnotes version is that transmisogyny isnt just transphobia (girl edition) it is the intersection of misogyny and transphobia that transfems experience. just like lesbophobia is the intersection of homophobia and misogyny and misogynoir is antiblackness and misogyny

since there is no “androphobia” for transphobia to intersect with to create “transandrophobia”, it doesn’t make any sense as a term. we are oppressed because we’re trans, not because we’re men. trans women are oppressed because they’re trans and because they’re women.
