72 conferences papers held in 2009 are reviewed to relate the theoretical frameworks in history a... more 72 conferences papers held in 2009 are reviewed to relate the theoretical frameworks in history and philosophy of science, to learning ideas, as well as the research designs. The qualitative content analysis process is carried out in three stages: (1) preparation of paper sample and selection of semantic units; (2) deductive categorization of research designs and historical and philosophical frameworks; inductive categorization of learning concepts based on the explicit ideas in reports; and (3) formulation of a grounded theory for describing reviewed academic production, on one hand, and relating the concepts in history and philosophy and the learning of science; the influence of external factors to decide the research design is observed. Some research perspectives are presented to determine the nature of the relationship between the historical and philophical frameworks and science learning ideas.
