Still recovering from the stomach bug and I have to say that I still feel very tired. However, I’ve been trying to go back to normal life again and I’m slowly getting back on track.
I’ve spent this weekend in bed sick with a stomach bug. I’ll spare you the details but it was not pleasant at all. And the most annoying part is that the weather was absolutely lovely and I could have done so much and instead missed all the weekend fun. Now I’ll have to catch up on work as these days threw me behind. At least it is one more week and then two weeks off. I’m really looking forward to this!
I’m feeling inspired and I had a productive day even though I was so tired in the morning that I had to go back to bed for another hour. Went on a walk, got some work done, cooked, had a little netflix break and then also did some cleaning. Soon it’s time for dinner and then some more work. Life feels good.
Good weekend, good weeks. I’m still working on that pile of papers to grade on my desk but overall, things are going well. I’m moving a lot, March has been my most active month in ages and it feels good. I should now soon begin to tackle my sugar intake, it’s not healthy. But one step at a time.
i hate it when i cant even write a poem about something because its too obvious. like in the airbnb i was at i guess it used to be a kids room cause you could see the imprint of one little glow in the dark star that had been missed and painted over in landlord white. like that’s a poem already what’s the point
you get it. you get the themes. i dont have time to do it justice. just look at it its on the ceiling
Today was a good day. And I got the idea to illustrate a Shakespeare play and rewrite it so my students understand it. I would love to start but I don’t have time and I’m sure it’ll take forever…
I’m working quite a lot these days and I’m resisting a cold which seems to be waiting for a weak moment. Haven’t fallen yet, though. It’s this time of the year where temperature changes are testing my immune system.
On another note, I’m still thinking about studying again. Not sure yet, there are many pros but the studying itself is a big con though…
After a few days of sunshine it got a bit more cloudy but there are finally some first shy leaves here and there. I’m busy grading papers (worst part of my job) and thinking about starting to study a new subject. Right now I’m teaching English and Spanish but I’m not working full time. I fear I’ll have to at some point in the future and this combination means grading tons of papers (which I hate). So I am contemplating the idea of adding a third subject, probably Ethics. Would means studying (again!) but could also make my work life easier in the future.
