And genuinely… what are we going to do with even more gigantic gray wolves? They are NOT pets, nor should we try to get them to be because it will end in euthanized “wolf dogs” and mauled humans. We can’t release them, they have no ecological niche anymore, and we already have enough problems reintroducing regularly sized wolves because of farmers. (Which, is understandable. They have fair points and we cannot dismiss them or no one will get progress towards the needs of the land and all that is on it.)
So… do we treat them like ligers? Genetic disaster creatures made for humans to coo at while they die a drawn out death from joint issues?
This just seems so selfish to me.

I don't know why I haven't made any art related to this book. It's been one of my favorites for a few years (since I first read it).

Everything costs me money and it's not even that good
I really like this website because somebody will be like “there’s nothing wrong with darting out from behind a parked car into traffic, bootlicker” and you can be like okay this clearly evolved from a valid point about how the US is too car-centric. But something happened to it.
I feel like a madwoman when I read the news sometimes. When I see what is being done in the name of Christ. How are they reading the same book as me? Jesus says it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, but we have given the keys to the kingdom to rich men. Jesus says whatever you have done to the least of these you have done to me, now we stoke disgust against the most vulnerable to gain more power. Scapegoating young children, as you weaponize fear to further your pursuit of ever more wealth and power. How does loving your neighbor mean pulling them away from their family? I want to scream and shout and knock down doors. This is the taking of the lord’s name in vain. They dress themselves in the cloak of Christianity while shirking Christ's call to grace, and spit in the eye of a lord of humility and generosity.
When I watch the news I think this must be how Jesus felt when he overturned the tables. I want to tear it all down. This is the righteous indignation they could never understand, not a facade to cover up my hatred. The pain of a heart longing to follow the prince of peace in a world of hate.
