Accountability means taking responsibility for your actions, including acknowledging when you’ve made mistakes. It’s about owning up to your errors, learning from them, and taking steps to make amends or improve.

If you make a mistake, don’t try to deny it, don’t cover it up, and don’t blame 5 different people for it. Repent, take responsibility for your actions, apologize or do whatever you need to do to clean things up, and move forward. Great leaders don’t have to be flawless, but they do need to know how to clean things up when they make a mistake.

We have control over the inner circle, but we only have influence (not control) over the outer circle.

When you blame others for the problems in your life, you prevent yourself from being your true self. You are the one in control of your life, and blaming others hinders your personal growth. Taking responsibility means acknowledging both the good and the bad, and owning up to your actions.
