One of my favorite dresses from White Christmas! This green velvet cocktail dress from the cast party scene is divine. The skirt is two layers: a pencil skirt with a full overlay. And that neckline! I love this movie, but this part of the plot generally irritates me: Betty is so mad over such a simple misunderstanding (and in the end, Bob does end up painting the general as quite a pathetic figure on national TV, so wouldn’t that also bother her? I don’t get it) so I just focus on DRESSES.
