Correct pruning can help mitigate the effects, but some drooping is inevitable. Here are a couple things I do to help them pop back up.  * Shake out the blooms from top to bottom trying to get the extra water out.  * You can use a bloom to gently release the water as well. This keeps you from getting as wet.  * Use a leaf blower on the low setting push the blooms upwards to dry them out.
