With a hula hoop and some spare curtains, an area in the class can be transformed into a circus tent, Aladins magic lamp or anything else you can imagine.

This little reading nook is amazing!

I think I have blogged too much about this camping day I was going to have. I can't even think of a good title! lol Anyway, I had such a wonderful day with my kiddos today---it was great to hear the giggles and watch them just have a blast. I'll try to be short, in my long winded ways! My room: I hung bulletin board paper from the ceiling! Who doesn't love a tent? Making tents is a pastime of all different kiddos. So why not incorporate one into the classroom? A tent can be versatile in the classroom. I think of the tent as a nice little reading nook in the classroom or as a place that the kiddos can go just to calm down.
