Hi all! I'm a fan of cross stitch. I also love creating cross-stitch patterns. Every day some ideas appear in my head and I try to implement them.

I’ve always wanted some stays, but was too intimidated to make them. I finally bit the bullet. Us modern folks tend to love our stretchy clothes, and cringe at the thought of wearing “hard pants,” but there are so many reasons why historical clothing, including stays, are surprisingly comfortable and practical.

The Thorn Stitch is a variation that shows how the stitches can be stitched in different patterns to anchor down the laid thread.
