Line - I really like this picture as the vertical lines made by the wooden planks of the bench leads the viewer through the foreground and into the background.

Horizontal lines in city

Element: Lines. This image showcases many different lines. There are both horizontal and diagonal lines and there is variation in the spaces between the two sets of horizontal lines. The woman in the corner stands draws attention in the image due to her lack of straight lines, making her the focal point.

One of the big challenges of landscape photography is incorporating elements into a landscape that you perhaps might prefer were not there. One of the common visual pollutants in our world is power lines running through pristine country.
