On Special:Hompeage the Impact module in the dark mode displays a thumbnail with non-inverted colors:

Notes:

I looked at the particular article - https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/張寶華. Special:Impact page displays the thumbnail correctly
checked the same thumbnail in other context, i.e. search and search suggestions - the thumbnail is displayed correctly

@SCP-2000 are you using the gadget by any chance? I can't seem to replicate this myself.

The safe mode was enabled, and it can be replicated on both Firefox and Chrome, so it seems to be neither a gadget nor a browser setting problem. Here is the screenshot of fullpage fyi
