also that video of miyazaki saying ai is “an insult to life itself” resurfacing has me like… guys cant u not see that context matters here bc the corpo guys were showing him SPECIFICALLY a model that was made to figure out a walk cycle on its own.. and the corpo guys were like ‘this is so cool look how nasty this one walks it can be like a zombie in a movie or sth’ and miyazaki was horrified not bc it was ai but bc the stupid corpobros didnt for a second consider that maybe. some people fr cant use their legs and figured out to walk exactly like one of the things in the model…

i miss when the genai and llm cautionary talk was pragmatic and abt like… fact checking everything u see yourself and not using chatgpt as a search engine…. why did everyone get so reactionary past that point….
