Thank you so much for replying! I like getting to know these kind of things :) with your reply came another question, if you don't mind, how do you manage your seasons and holidays? I see that you sometimes have 3 summer updates and another time it's 5. With one week rotations I'm curious how that works, as well as the holidays. Thank you again for giving an insight behind the scene!

  • When I first set up my save I had everyone start in the summer, and when each rotation finishes I use ui cheats to change the seasons, since the game default of ½/4 week seasons only work if you have the same number of households. Then the number of updates for that season just depends on how many households I have at the time.

For holidays I used to play every holiday with every family in an older iteration of the save, but that got super repetitive, so now I just pick and choose depending on which holidays I feel like playing that season, and which families I want to play them with. Hope that makes sense. :)

Hi. I hope you're doing well. I got a bit of an elaborate question; how did you start playing sims 4 rationally? How did you set it up? What did you do with the original sims in the worlds? How many days do you play each household? Sorry for the many questions :)

  • Hi! No worries, I love to blabber about my sims, haha.

So basically my favourite way to start is with a couple of ‘founding’ sims, so a couple of single YA sim households. I really enjoy the university gameplay so I usually play mine for a week to build some skills and then enroll them in university, but having them start out with regular careers instead works too.

I like to spread them out across the worlds so that I’m not stuck playing in the same world/neighbourhood all the time, and I try to give them different hobbies so that there’s a little more variety in their gameplay.

The original premade sims get left as they are (besides giving them a makeover first) and I have aging off for the save, so the townies don’t age unless they marry into or befriend one of my families. Sometimes I turn aging on for my own active households, but usually I leave it off and just age them up manually when I’m ready.

I play each household for seven days, usually Monday to Sunday, and switch households the next Monday. When my sims are enrolled in university classes I’ll switch them over at 5pm because that’s when grades get posted, otherwise I’ll switch over early Monday morning.

Hope that answers all your questions!

Jacob confronts him in the change room after practice, and seems to be under the false impression that Sebastian hit him on purpose.

Sebastian might have corrected him, had Jacob not thrown in a few choice insults about vampires! There’s only one way to settle this fight now…

What he lacks in skill, Sebastian makes up for in vampiric strength. Perhaps a little too much strength.

Caleb’s not the only one who’s picked up a new hobby, however.

On a whim, Sebastian’s decided to join the school’s football team. He’s not much of a sports guy, but it’ll look good on his university application!

Caleb’s been aging most of his nectar to sell later, but of course he’s saved a bottle or two for himself to unwind with after work.

Since dabbling in the art of nectar-making on a family holiday, Caleb’s picked it up as a full-time hobby back at home… and lately, he’s developed his skill just enough to try his hand at making a special kind of nectar.

He’s sure that with just a little one more practice, he can one day call himself an expert nectar-maker.

While Imogen and Sebastian try to squeeze in a little more sleep before school in the morning, Caleb’s still up and outside, tending to his plants.
