Great drawing, nice balance between line and curves and cool dynamic render/color.
Neat !
This is stellar!!! Theres so much attitude in the subjects faces, but I think overall what I love the most is the shadowed area of his chest, and the lighting on the robe. The contrast in the palette is also quite satisfying!!
@Dexrunner: Thank you! I suppose you are right, the dog's face was fun to do to, after that my inspiration faded. The plants ( and in fact the entirety of the "frames" ) where just mirrored. Timewise, I don't have an exact figure. Something like 5-6 hours maybe? I kind of had a lot fun doing his face+torso intitally and zoned out.
@ZeeZerd: I don't understand why they should? Sure the lightning is erratic, but I don't think it's the shoulders that break it.
@Cure: Very happy to be compared to and mistaken for those two! Thank you.
@all: Thanks!
Mistook this for Helm at first, Nosferatu's face reminds me of ptoing though. Dig the palette, especially the gleaming yellow.
It's wonky and HE DON'T WANT TO TOUCH IT NO MORE.
Beautiful work, Reo. I can understand parts would be crazy to get a handle on, but it's hard to believe you didn't have at least a little fun doing the Pug. That robe is solid, too! I hope to get folds like that someday. Really nice job!
Side question: Are the plants individually rendered or were they a horizontal flip-job? Not judging, I just wondered how you did them. Also how long did it take? These are the hard hitting questions I gotta know!
The lighting on his right shoulder is way different from the other shoulder. They should have similar lighting.
Oh this is fantastic! <3
