Weekly Challenge: 8 Color Music

(AA on the orange would be nice thought, but I guess it's because of the color restriction)
If you tone down the orange a bit this will go from good to great.
It's quite an outstanding piece for only 8 colors, definately has my vote.
It reminds me of Hellgate for some reason. Awesome stuff.
The orange headphone cords reeeeeally need some aa. I think it probably has my vote since its a really cool piece but the lack of aa there kills is a little for me.
Nice one ! I like the character, and the palette is great.
@Jeremy and Petrichor: the orange on the top of the head was supposed to be sort of a braintank/bulb-thingy, I understand that it looks a bit wierd, I didn't have enough colors, maybe I'll do some changes later.

I'm with Jeremy on the head highlight--and also on the teeny tiny orange highlight/doodad on the nearest headphone. Seems out of place.
This is *gorgeous* though, nicely done. You really used that ramp to its fullest advantage to make the foreground so distinct from the background. I envy that.
Also, this looks amazing on the Pixelation site theme, for serious.
It'd be awesome if you did a series of these... Like each with a different bright, hi-contrast colour :D
That said, I'm not sure about the orange highlight on the very top of the head, it's a bit too contrasty. Perhaps a little more on those lower ridges?
