A: A hotch potch of something is a random uncoordinated spread of them. An exclave is a part of a country that is unconnected to the main territory of the country and is surrounded by the territory of another country.

So it would basically mean a bunch of spread out territories that are each surrounded by another country.

A: I don’t particularly use either but I’m guessing there’s some difference.
