We have been doing samplers like this for at least 15 years. We usually make them tracing squares or rectangles (I recommend using the scor-it for that) for each texture. This time I decided to use a puzzle shape. You can use Dreamweaver stencil for that. Metal Tooling in Middle School Art – wrap metal around cardboard and continue the design on paper. Color with sharpies on both trace the drawing onto the copper with a ballpoint pen. Once the sketch is transferred, students can add a three dimensional effect with a dull pencil or Popsicle stick, making the lines ofmaking the lines of the drawing stick outwards
