Katie Jarvis on Instagram: "I’ve never used table caddies or baskets for daily supplies. Here is what I do instead- ➡️ Art Buffet! Help yourself and then at the end I can see that all erasers are returned. I don’t let me students go into my cabinets so, this system works great because they can independently get to all of these supplies. ➡️ Scissors Pockets! I’ve used an over the door shoe holder for scissors for as long as I can remember in my art room. If a scissors is missing the class must find it before they leave or it is a frown on our happy/sad board for each missing pair. ➡️ Crayon Shelf! I enjoy having different sets of crayons accessible. You know the struggle…Kids start to lose their pencils and you’re not actually sure where they all go. Then - all of a sudden, you have 5 pencils left. 😂 This has been our BEST plan yet! I’ll probably do this every year now. Here are some more details: -Erasers are shared and are in the center caddy on each table. -If their erasers are already used on their pencils, they can use a big eraser! -I will probably take the time to replenish pencils before each break.
