Scaevola aemula (Fairy Fanflower) flowering at the RTBG Nursery. A short lived perennial appearing after fire, Scaevola aemula although common on mainland Australia has a limited distribution in Tasmania. Only 6 populations have been recorded in the last 30 years and the species is listed as Endangered within Tasmania (pdf here).
