Good news!! Construction for the West Islands East Project starts next month. If you’ve been following along with this project, you know that it’s a custom new build in Saint Simons Island, Georgia . And though I’ve shared a bit about the project already, there’s so many more good things to share.

If you’re someone who is of the mind of no way, no how will I ever place a TV above the fireplace, hear me out. Especially if you have a symmetrically designed great room, primary bedroom, snug, study, etc. where the fireplace will be located smack dab in the middle of the space, with either bookend cabinets or doorways on each side.

In a 12' by 12' living room, you might think your layout options are limited, but actually, there are multiple ways to arrange your furniture or use interior design to completely change the look and feel of the space. The layout you choose will need to reflect how you want to use the room. For example, you might like to entertain, watch TV, or eat dinner in your living room, and all of these things will affect which layout will work best for you.
