Fig 1-99 is a series of 100 collaged colour studies — and each one is constructed from a single image, or rather the counterforms from an image. Gerace sourced materials mainly from 1960s-1980s magazines (Life, Playboy, Popular Mechanics, Charm, Allure, Time...), and using the backgrounds from the covers. The artist claims: "It is interesting how the backgrounds change when they're removed from their subject: but still remaining bits of human form."
