I’m still slogging through ep18 businesses and hobbies. I have positive irl stuff going on and it’s harder to sit converting when I’m feeling like my best self in…8-9 years…?
Anyway, point is, I will probably go through what I have and upload this week. I will also upload the wips in case someone feels inclined to finish. I’m not a modder so not going to get any of the wishes I saw people wanted granted 😂

Hi! I really like the orange curl conversion you did by DayLifeSims, but when I try to download it, it shows up bald in my game? The mesh is in the file, so I can't figure out why it isn't working. Do you have any ideas?
Hi anon! the only thing I can think is that it’s higher poly and the game doesn’t like it. I don’t think I’ve had an issue with it so not sure what else it could be.

hello! i apologize if you've been asked this before but do you know of any tutorials on how to default replace objects? i'm interested in creating my own 4t2 furniture defaults, but the only tutorials i can find are on replacing textures and not models. i do have experience with CAS defaults, but i've not messed with objects in SimPE at all so it's very foreign territory. sorry for the rambling and thank you in advance!

My thinking: sims don't have to use soap when they wash their hands, or shampoo, or anything to clean dirty counters and tubs. So why use a detergent and make one game feature disproportionally more detailed than other similar features?
So, how about this idea..
Hear me out, this is how it's gonna work
You buy special items like soap and place them around the house like you would place bathroom clutter. Every time sims clean something or bathe, they subtract points from a nearby product if there are any. Once a bottle/box is used up, it disappears and notifies you if it was the last one.
While most interactions are still available even without supplies, having and not having them has advantages and penalties.
House cleaning takes longer without supplies and goes faster with them.
Same goes for bathing, with a difference: there's limit to how clean sims and pets can get with water alone.
(Yes, I have been writing the description, crazy stuff!)
So, there are two major groups of products: for house cleaning and for body care. They are mostly separate, but some things like regular soap can be used in both cases.
House Cleaning (think dish liquid, detergent, cleaner spray, washing powder, soap)
Personal Hygiene:Â (soap, shampoo, body wash, bath bottles, toiletries)
Pictured objects are included as separate files (+ one more paper towel). Can be found in Plumbing - Misc. One product has around 16-45 uses (half the initial price)

hi snowiii!!! I used rudhira’s tutorials on youtube and their default packages as well for the most part as they’re really great about including all ages and hidden clones. I just rip out the parts that I don’t need and drop in mine lol

The laundromat set is separated and the dryer floats on its own so....they kind of go together that way. If you wanted a floor dryer, you can clone one of the dryers offered in the mod and swap for the washer model. I didn't do it cuz.... yep :)

So it has its unique repairing animation:
All the other machines are repaired like TVs and stereos:
Also, both washer and dryer use their own separate version of button pushing animation to fit the higher panel:
