I have a very sweet Sylveon who doesn't like battling, but recently my brother's been wanting to take her on his route to become champion. he just turned 10 and he wants it for his birthday, while my parents are also agreeing. i've had her since I was 5 and she's more of a lap pokemon than a battler. please give advice i've locked myself in the basement with our cooking pokemon but i don't know how much longer the barrier's going to last

Your parents shouldn’t be expecting you to give up your own Pokémon partner at all, especially to a battler if the Pokémon doesn’t like that. With them trying to force you, your best bet might be to head out on your own journey before they can. There’s plenty of nonbattling approaches… Sylveon might enjoy contests, or you could try wild Pokémon photography.

quick question, i accidentally dropped my thunderstone and a small piece broke off, is it still safe to use? it’s for an eevee if that matters

As long as it was only a small piece, it should still work just fine! Most evolutionary stones are a bit larger than they technically need to be, which is a relief for a lot of trainers in your situation.

The shard probably won’t have enough energy in it to evolve anything, so you can hang onto that for jewelry making or whatever.
